Robin spideog
Robins like to eat small insects ,
worms ,fruit and seeds. They are also very fond of cheese . The female
imcubates the eggs. Robins are frequent visitors at winter bird tables
.The female builds her nest in a hedge ,bush , even on a ledge in
an old shed . Some people say robins are cheeky little birds
.A robins best friend is said to be man. The robin is a resident , a bird
which stays with us all year round. It is one of few birds which sings
during winter . Only males sing during the breeding season .But females
also sing at times during winter . The cock robin does not sit on
the eggs , but he brings food to his mate . He also sings close by ,and
keep other birds away. When the young are hatched he takes a turn in feeding
them .Both parents bring grub and caterpillars to the hungry family . They
work hard from early morning until dusk . Baby robins have no red on their
breasts.
