| Grovesend is a small townsland Southwest of Barrysbrook.The
Famine of 1845-1847 made big changes in Grovesend. In 1841 there were
43 people living in 8 houses. In 1851 there were only 4 people left in
1 house. The population stayed the same in 1861. Nobody lives in Grovesend
today.
