Butterflies

 Butterflies live on nectar.
 The  wings of  butterflies and moths are  covered with tiny scales.
 They are often very brightly coloured.
 Butterflies and moths usually lay their eggs on plants.
 There are about  12,000 kinds of butterfly.
 Some come from as far away  as Africa.
