The Blackbird: An Londubh
The Blackbird and the robin are woodland birds.
If the ground is too hard they will hunt for slugs . The nests are
open cups in bushes. The cock blackbird is easily know by the yellow bill
. The hen builds her own nest . The male is all black with an orange beak.
The female is brown with a brown beak. The black birds nest is made from
dried grass and moss. Baby black bird are brown. Black bird find worms
and grubs in the soil and eat fruits and berries .The black bird
is a member of the thrush family. Blackbirds live in bushes and rule
areas. She hatches her eggs on her own. But her mate helps her feed the
chicks.
